I read somewhere on IMDB that the movie has an unofficial sequel called "The Revenge of the Living Dead Girls" (1987).
It was released by Redemption, that's all I know. Has someone here seen this film ?

Yeah, there was a US dvd of it too (not released by Redemption) that utilised a different ending. It's ok, nothing great, and not an unofficial sequel at all; it's just that the title sounds similar - if you see the film the title makes sense.

There are some very silly comments on IMDb, indeed:

The title of this film alludes to it possibly being a sequel and the only film I could think of that it could be a sequel to is one of the two good Jean Rollin films, 'The Living Dead Girl'. (...) Pierre B. Reinhard's film is at least bad enough to have been made by Jean Rollin.

The premise of spilling some toxic waste in awakening the dead is rather similar to Jean Rollin's girlie zombie flick LA MORTE VIVANTE (1981) (...) Some even suggested Jean Rollin directed this one too, and that Pierre B. Reinhard was a pseudonym.

Well, Pierre B. Reinhard does exist: he made lots of porn films in the 80's, some of which were quite shocking... He lives in Paris and he's still working in the porn business...

The only thing this film has in common with Rollin's work is the fact that Benoît Lestang, who made the special effects, also worked on "La morte vivante" and "La fiancée de Dracula".

Martin, you can the DVD really cheap on Priceminister!
